At Casa Antena Noria Alta, we are committed to providing a profoundly unique experience by offering spaces for deep work and creative relaxation in a peaceful and vibrant environment.
Casa Antena was built as a sanctuary for creative people, providing the spaces and environment needed for deep work or creative relaxation.
Located in Noria Alta, just 12 minutes by public transportation (7 minutes by car) from the historic center of Guanajuato, our house offers a peaceful retreat close to the city’s vibrant cultural life.
Whether you are traveling for work, vacation — or both — alone or with friends and family, Casa Antena invites you to slow down, focus, and reconnect. Here, you can work comfortably, rest deeply, and let the creative juices flow while you leave the world’s distractions to melt away.
Noria Alta brings together comfortable accommodation, cowork-friendly spaces, and shared areas designed for better concentration and connection, making it an ideal base for short or extended stays in a UNESCO World Heritage city.
Casa Antena Noria Alta is made up of four thoughtfully designed spaces, including two fully independent apartments.
Each apartment comfortably accommodates up to six guests and features a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast table, practical wardrobes, and a combined living and dining area with seating for six.
Every bedroom includes a queen-size bed, and all furniture has been either custom-made or carefully selected from designers across Mexico, creating a warm, functional, and inspiring environment.
Apartment 1
Smart · Balanced · Purposeful
This space is inspired by the work of Claude Shannon, “the father of information theory.” Shannon developed information entropy as a measure of the information content in a message, which is a measure of uncertainty reduced by the message.
Apartment 2
Bright · Comfortable · Functional
This space is inspired by the work of Valerie Thomas who created the Illusion Transmitter: a tool that uses two concave mirrors and rays of light to produce optical illusions. This invention transformed health and entertainment from that time to the present, as perceived with 3D movies.
A welcoming space to enjoy coffee, casual conversations, or a break between work sessions.
Run mainly by Guanajuato’s University college students, Café Antena complements your creative day needs. You can find a healthy bite to eat, drink a coffee or meet new people and get some fresh air directly in Casa Antena’s backyard.
Our cowork space on the first floor is designed to give guests a professional, office-like environment—just steps away from their apartment. Access is free for all guests staying at Casa Antena.
Whether you need a quiet place to focus, host a video call, or work while your roommates relax, the cowork space is always available. Guests are also welcome to teach or host small courses during their stay (depending on availability).
